More than a half-million people fled to El Fasher, a capital city in Darfur and one of the sites of new fighting when the war began in mid-April. A widening recruitment network and an increase in funding overseas contributed to ADF’s bloodiest year yet, according to a report by the Washington Post. Thirteen Eritrean Christians have been released from prison just six days after The Voice of the Martyrs USA (VOM) launched a letter-writing campaign. The VOM campaign was to raise awareness for two Eritrean pastors wrongfully imprisoned for 7,000 days. Sadly, the two pastors have not been released yet.
