LET US BE WATCHMEN ON THE WALL WATCHING GOD LORD GOD Almighty, help us to watch You. To keep our eyes fixed upon You and to worship You for all that You are! CURRENT WORLD EVENTS AND BREAKING NEWS Australian Preacher, 4 Church Members Stabbed During Livestreamed Bible Study 4/8/2024 – Australia (International Christian Concern) Bishop Mar Mari Emmanuel of Christ The Good Shepherd Church in Sydney, Australia, was stabbed during a church Bible study as it was streamed live on social media the evening of Monday, April 15. Four other church members were also stabbed during the livestream. The alleged attacker, a 15-year-old boy, is in police custody. That they would know the hope God gives (Ephesians 1:18) and that the Holy Spirit will strengthen them (Ephesians 3:16) t is the attitude of a heart sincerely seeking Him to which God responds with a blessing (Isaiah 58, Jeremiah 14:12, and 1 Corinthians 8:8)

A majority of Syria’s Christians have left the country in the past 13 years due to the conflict and breakdown of order in the country. In regions of Syria still under the control of al- Qaeda affiliated groups, such as Hayat Tahrir Al-Sham (HTS) in Idlib, Christian communities seem to have disappeared. Witnesses to the murders described four hooded men shooting the Christians near the back of the shop where they sold their goods… then set the shop on fire. Nicaise Kyora, president of the youth parliament of Mangina, confirmed the deaths, adding that others were taken hostage, and the local Christian health center had been looted and set on fire.
