CURRENT WORLD EVENTS AND BREAKING NEWS Hope Fades as Rafah Invasion Looms 2/28/2024 – Israel (Mission Network News) U.S. President Biden recently voiced his hope for a Gaza ceasefire deal by Monday, but one Israeli official tells The Washington Post, “There is no deal” while Hamas officials say gaps remain in the ceasefire proposal. Meanwhile, the mood is heavy as Israeli troops prepare to invade Rafah. Death is an ever-present possibility. The assailants opened fire during worship, resulting in the tragic loss of 12 lives and leaving five others injured. Later, three succumbed to their injuries at the hospital. The list of those sanctioned includes two leaders of the Allied Democratic Forces (ADF), a notorious terrorist group guilty of continued violence against civilians, including vulnerable Christian communities in the DRC, Africa. It is unknown if these are coordinated attacks or if the same terrorists are committing each attack in the area. The terrorist stormed the village of Nasarawa… with heavy arms, including AK-47 rifles, said Abubakar Aliyu, the spokesperson for the Nigeria police in Katsina State, in a press statement. That they would know the hope God gives (Ephesians 1:18) and that the Holy Spirit will strengthen them (Ephesians 3:16) • It is the attitude of a heart sincerely seeking Him to which God responds with a blessing (Isaiah 58, Jeremiah 14:12, and 1 Corinthians 8:8)
