COMMUNITIES OF THE PERMIAN BASIN Let us PRAY for peace, comfort, wisdom and patience for the families and businesses that have been affected by the economic downturn due to low oil prices. “They will have no fear of bad news; their hearts are steadfast, trusting in the Lord.” ~ Psalm 112:7 AWAKENING Give thanks for all the Lord is AWAKENING IN YOU!! There is power in His blood and the name of Jesus Christ. May others experience the goodness of this truth and have an encounter with the Living God in this season! Pray for our local and global churches; for our pastors to stand firmly on the Word of God. AMERICA Pray for the leaders of our nation to stand firm on God’s Word. Give thanks we have leaders that are in the Palm of His Hand! Isaiah 41:13 May they call upon Him for wisdom. May they give Him thanks for the peace and order that He brings. Give thanks for God fearing men and women serving in these positions. PERSECUTED BELIEVERS We lift up our brothers & sisters & those yet to come that they may know He is present in their midst and hears their prayers. Let us pray that even in the midst of dire circumstances and even in the midst of severe threats and actions of death they will have the grace to STAND NO MATTER WHAT and not forsake Jesus Yeshua Isa – Son of the Living God. According to reports, the militants are said to have launched a second attack on the town on Tuesday, November 22. On Monday, November 21, the group had carried out a minor attack on the town, which is near the Kenya-Somalia border. Herdsmen victims: Seminarian Priest buried with father Published November 22, 2016 — A Seminarian Priest, Lazarus Nwafor, who was reportedly murdered by fulani herdsmen during the attack in Enugu three months ago, has been buried alongside his father on the 18th of November, 2016. The late Priest’s father, on hearing the sad news about his son’s death in the hands of the herdsmen, had collapsed and died. As blood poured from his foot, they beat and kicked him, rubbing salt into his wounds. He was sexually abused in prison by three women wearing niqabs. ISIS Mass Grave Found Containing 300 Bodies Massacred by Jihadists Published November 18, 2016 – Iraqi forces have found a mass grave containing the bodies of at least 300 former police officers massacred by the Islamic State terror group near Mosul, its last remaining stronghold in Iraq. Kidnapped Mexican Priest Is Found Alive But Tortured Published November 14, 2016 — A priest and human rights activist abducted in Mexico has been found alive but tortured, the Roman Catholic Church said yesterday. Father Jose Luis Sanchez Ruiz was abducted in the state of Veracruz, said the Associated Press, the third priest to have been kidnapped since September. The other two were shot and killed. According to Bishop Fidencio Lopez, Sanchez Ruiz "had been dumped, with notable signs of torture" at an undisclosed location. The girl was discovered in Pulka in northern Borno state, spokesman Sani Usman said. The announcement came nearly a month after another 21 Chibok girls were freed after negotiations with Boko Haram Islamist militants., 826 Christians were killed and 878 injured. There were 102 churches destroyed or damaged. Muslims Burn Home Where Boys Threatened With Violence Took Refuge Published November 04, 2016 – (Morning Star News) – Muslims in a village in eastern Uganda on Sunday (Oct. 30) gutted the home of a Christian family for housing two boys threatened with violence for leaving Islam, sources said. According to China Aid, an international non-profit Christian human rights organization committed to promoting religious freedom and rule of law in China, the Shengai Fellowship Family Church in Beijing had organized a gathering on Oct.7 in the home of Xu Yonghai, an elder in the church.… Sudan's War On Christians: School With 1,000 Pupils Closed After Raid Published October 31, 2016 — An evangelical Christian school in Sudan with more than 1,000 pupils has been closed after it was raided by authorities. According to sources cited by Sight magazine, armed police aided by civilians bused in from the surrounding area were involved in the raid on the Evangelical Basic School in Madani, Al Jazirah state last week.… 4 PEOPLE KILLED DURING UN PROTEST Published October 27, 2016 Four people have been killed, and 14 injured, in Bangui during a protest against the United Nations in the Central African Republic. According to the U.N., the deaths occurred when U.N. peacekeepers exchanged fire with armed protestors… The group of Central African protestors are demanding the U.N. mission to withdraw because it is failing to protect the people. Nigerian Middle Belt state: 800+ Christians killed, 800+ injured, 100+ churches destroyed October 26, 2016 – Nigeria’s Middle Belt is the scene of ever-continuing attacks on Christian farmers by mainly Muslim Hausa-Fulani herdsmen, including this past week where attacks have occurred in both Kaduna and Benue states. Now a recent report about another state in the Middle Belt, Nasarawa, shows that it too has been the scene of serious violence against Christians. In the period January 2013–May 2016, 826 Christians were killed and 878 injured. There were 102 churches destroyed or damaged.
