AWAKENING
Give thanks for all the Lord is AWAKENING IN YOU!! There is power in His blood and the name of Jesus Christ. May others experience the goodness of this truth and have an encounter with the Living God in this season! Pray for our local and global churches; for our pastors to stand firmly on the Word of God.

AMERICA
Pray for the leaders of our nation to stand firm on God’s Word. Give thanks we have leaders that are in the Palm of His Hand! Isaiah 41:13 May they call upon Him for wisdom.  May they give Him thanks for the peace and order that He brings.  Give thanks for God fearing men and women serving in these positions. 

PERSECUTED BELIEVERS
We lift up our brothers & sisters & those yet to come that they may know He is present in their midst and hears their prayers.  Let us pray that even in the midst of dire circumstances and even in the midst of severe threats and actions of death they will have the grace to STAND NO MATTER WHAT and not forsake Jesus Yeshua Isa – Son of the Living God.  Lift up where ISIS (or affiliate) is controlling in places like Nigeria, Middle East and Algeria, etc.

ISRAEL
Lift up Israel and individuals within the country (Jews & Arabs alike). Pray for the peace of Jerusalem. May those who love you prosper, Psalm 122:6, Pray that Israelis will move forward with the leader that the Lord appoints. May there be peace.

Published August 22, 2017 – Three Kenyan Christians were hacked to death by Al-Shabaab militants on Friday night (18 August) after they refused to recite the Islamic prayer of faith. A fourth Christian – a mentally challenged older brother of one of the three – was also killed.

Militants Kill Four Men in Eastern Kenya for Their Christian Faith
Published August 21, 2017 – Washington, D.C. (International Christian Concern) – (ICC) has learned that on August 17, 2017, al-Shabaab militants perpetrated another attack in Kenya’s Lamu County where four Christian men were killed. The attack came just over one month after an attack in nearby Jima village where seven Christian men were killed.

Christian Teen Beaten and Arrested After Being Accused of Blasphemy in Pakistan
Published August 21, 2017 – FAISALABAD: A Christian teenager was brutally beaten up by a mob in Jhamkay town of Wazirabad tehsil, Gujranwala on Sunday over accusations of committing blasphemy. The teenager, who is 16, was rescued by police and then shifted to the Ali Pur Chattha police station where he was booked under Section 295-B of the Pakistan Penal Code – punishable with life imprisonment – on the complaint of a pesh imam, Qari Rana Arshad Ali. 

Sweden to Iranian convert it plans to deport: ‘It’s not our problem you chose to become a Christian’ Published August 16, 2017 – An Iranian convert to Christianity has been refused asylum in Sweden, placing her at risk of deportation and “torture and rape” in jail in her home country…officials at the country’s Migration Board did not believe her life would be in danger if she were sent back to Iran… “and it’s not our problem if you decided to become a Christian; it’s your problem.”
