Prayer Wall 8/2/17

God has called us to live holy lives, not impure lives. 1 Thessalonians 4:7

A gentle answer deflects anger, but harsh words make tempers flare. Proverbs 15:1

Instead, you must worship Christ as Lord of your life. And if someone asks about your Christian hope, always be ready to explain it. 1 Peter 3:15
 
Like newborn babies, you must crave pure spiritual milk so that you will grow into a full experience of salvation. Cry out for this nourishment, now that you have had a taste of the Lord's kindness. 1 Peter 2:2-3
 
If I shut up the heavens so that there is no rain, or if I command the locust to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among My people, If my people who are called by name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.  II Chronicles 7:13-14

AWAKENING
Give thanks for all the Lord is AWAKENING IN YOU!! There is power in His blood and the name of Jesus Christ. May others experience the goodness of this truth and have an encounter with the Living God in this season! Pray for our local and global churches; for our pastors to stand firmly on the Word of God.
AMERICA
Pray for the leaders of our nation to stand firm on God’s Word. Give thanks we have leaders that are in the Palm of His Hand! Isaiah 41:13 May they call upon Him for wisdom.  May they give Him thanks for the peace and order that He brings.  Give thanks for God fearing men and women serving in these positions. 
PERSECUTED BELIEVERS
We lift up our brothers & sisters & those yet to come that they may know He is present in their midst and hears their prayers.  Let us pray that even in the midst of dire circumstances and even in the midst of severe threats and actions of death they will have the grace to STAND NO MATTER WHAT and not forsake Jesus Yeshua Isa – Son of the Living God.  Lift up where ISIS (or affiliate) is controlling in places like Nigeria, Middle East and Algeria, etc.
ISRAEL
Lift up Israel and individuals within the country (Jews & Arabs alike). Pray for the peace of Jerusalem. May those who love you prosper, Psalm 122:6, Pray that Israelis will move forward with the leader that the Lord appoints. May there be peace.

Buddhists in Myanmar attack Christian villagers for holding late-night church services
Published August 1, 2017 – A mob of Buddhists reportedly attacked Christian villagers in Myanmar for holding late-night church services to celebrate and welcome new converts. According to Morning Star News, about 150 Buddhists and monks threw stones and broke into houses of Christians in Thi Taw village in northwest Burma's Sagaing Region.

Published July 31, 2017 – An Ethiopian Christian suffered deep wounds to the back of his head when he was attacked while alone in his home by a group of local Muslims with machetes… A source told World Watch Monitor that the gang of Muslims who attacked the man were angry because he was evangelising. The gang had first attacked the local Full Gospel Church … before going to the man’s house.  

Congo conflict: More than a hundred children killed in last month alone
Published July 31, 2017 – More than a hundred children have been killed in the last month alone in the Congo with hundreds more used as human shields, devastating new figures reveal. More than 60,000 people have been displaced in the last month alone, UN data said, adding to the 3.8 million displaced nationally…the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) has more displaced people than any other country in Africa, including Eritrea and Somalia.

Published July 28, 2017 – A church planter in India says Christians in the Hindu-majority country are growing stronger in their faith despite severe persecution. According to Open Doors USA, Christians in India are in more danger now as violence in the first six months of this year has already doubled from 2016.
