Prayer Wall 8/16/17

The secret things belong to the LORD our God, but the things revealed belong to us and to our children forever, that we may follow all the words of this law. Deuteronomy 29:29

If my people who are called by name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.  II Chronicles 7:14

Arise & shine; please pray for the following!

AWAKENING
Give thanks for all the Lord is AWAKENING IN YOU!! There is power in His blood and the name of Jesus Christ. May others experience the goodness of this truth and have an encounter with the Living God in this season! Pray for our local and global churches; for our pastors to stand firmly on the Word of God.

AMERICA
Pray for the leaders of our nation to stand firm on God’s Word. Give thanks we have leaders that are in the Palm of His Hand! Isaiah 41:13 May they call upon Him for wisdom.  May they give Him thanks for the peace and order that He brings.  Give thanks for God fearing men and women serving in these positions. 

PERSECUTED BELIEVERS
We lift up our brothers & sisters & those yet to come that they may know He is present in their midst and hears their prayers.  Let us pray that even in the midst of dire circumstances and even in the midst of severe threats and actions of death they will have the grace to STAND NO MATTER WHAT and not forsake Jesus Yeshua Isa – Son of the Living God.  Lift up where ISIS (or affiliate) is controlling in places like Nigeria, Middle East and Algeria, etc.

ISRAEL
Lift up Israel and individuals within the country (Jews & Arabs alike). Pray for the peace of Jerusalem. May those who love you prosper, Psalm 122:6, Pray that Israelis will move forward with the leader that the Lord appoints. May there be peace.

Published August 15, 2017 – Hong Kong police have arrested a pro-democracy activist who said mainland Chinese agents had stapled his legs on suspicion of providing false information. Howard Lam made headlines last week with his allegations.

Eritrean mother who was arrested in crackdown on evangelical Christians dies in jail
Published August 14, 2017 – A mother of three who was arrested in May during the ongoing crackdown against Evangelical Christians in Eritrea has died in jail last week. Fikadu Debesay, who was detained along with her husband in May, died last week in Metkel Abiet, a desert camp in the Northern Red Sea Region.

Minya Archbishopric calls for reopening church allegedly closed upon extremists’ will
Published August 13, 2017 – The Archbishopric…released a statement on Sunday calling on the government to reopen the closed Coptic Church in ‘Kedwan’ village in Minya. The statement made it clear Copts in Minya are angry that the authorities closed the church… after extremists in the village expressed refusal to the presence of a church.

Ethiopia: church attacked, then told to close and member arrested for ‘inciting religious clashes’
Published August 11, 2017 – A Pentecostal church in Ethiopia has been ordered to stop meeting in a residential area, in the wake of a mob attack on the church…a church member was arrested for “illegal activities” that “incited religious clashes” 

A CHRISTIAN FAMILY SUFFERS A BRUTAL ATTACK
Published August 08, 2017 – There was a day when not long ago when Christian farming communities in northeastern Nigeria were self-reliant. But the violent rise of Boko Haram has changed all that….Boko Haram attacked the village, militants set the property and family home on fire. Sadly, the father was still inside and he eventually died from the injuries he suffered.

• Pray for the gospel to go forward and be rooted in the Middle East.
• Pray for our military to be a light to others and be spiritually fit to endure the challenges of the military service.
• Revival happens wherever the Word of God prevails (2 Thessalonians 3:1).
