If I shut up the heavens so that there is no rain, or if I command the locust to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among My people, If my people who are called by name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.  ~ II Chronicles 7:13-14

AWAKENING
Give thanks for all the Lord is AWAKENING IN YOU!! There is power in His blood and the name of Jesus Christ. May others experience the goodness of this truth and have an encounter with the Living God in this season! Pray for our local and global churches; for our pastors to stand firmly on the Word of God.

AMERICA
Pray for the leaders of our nation to stand firm on God’s Word. Give thanks we have leaders that are in the Palm of His Hand! Isaiah 41:13 May they call upon Him for wisdom.  May they give Him thanks for the peace and order that He brings.  Give thanks for God fearing men and women serving in these positions. 

PERSECUTED BELIEVERS
We lift up our brothers & sisters & those yet to come that they may know He is present in their midst and hears their prayers.  Let us pray that even in the midst of dire circumstances and even in the midst of severe threats and actions of death they will have the grace to STAND NO MATTER WHAT and not forsake Jesus Yeshua Isa – Son of the Living God.  Lift up where ISIS (or affiliate) is controlling in places like Nigeria, Middle East and Algeria, etc.

ISRAEL
Lift up Israel and individuals within the country (Jews & Arabs alike). Pray for the peace of Jerusalem. May those who love you prosper, Psalm 122:6, Pray that Israelis will move forward with the leader that the Lord appoints. May there be peace.

Lamu al Shabaab recruits suspected to be spies, murdered in Somalia
Published May 02, 2017 – At least six al Shabaab recruits from Lamu have been murdered in Somalia in the last two months on suspicion that they were government spies. James Seriani, Linda Boni operations director, said on Sunday that this number were killed between March and April alone. 

Young Christian Girl Forced by Sharia Court in Nigeria to Marry Muslim Man
Published May 02, 2017 – Nigeria (The Christian Post) – The 16-year-old daughter of a Nigerian church leader was forcibly converted to Islam and married off to her Muslim boss by a Sharia court in the Niger state, a local news outlet has reported.

Violent attacks on Christians in India increasing at alarming rate
Published May 02, 2017 – The report, published by All India Christian Council (AICC), indicated that the attacks against Christians were up by 20 percent in 2016. It also noted that physical violence against believers rose by 40 percent and murders have doubled.

Africa: The Forgotten War in the Central African Republic
Published April 30, 2017 – Violent conflict between rebel groups has been raging in the Central African Republic for years. Aid agencies are warning that the humanitarian situation is worsening dramatically.

US watchdog adds Russia to its list of worst oppressors of religion
Published April 27, 2017 – The annual report by the U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom, released 26 April, states: ”The state of affairs for international religious freedom is worsening in both the depth and breadth of violations. The blatant assaults have become so frightening — attempted genocide, the slaughter of innocents, and wholesale destruction of places of worship — that less egregious abuses go unnoticed or at least unappreciated. Many observers have become numb to violations of the right to freedom of thought, conscience, and religion”.

• Dear Lord, please protect our brothers and sisters around the world who are being persecuted for their faith, especially those who are active in sharing the gospel.
• Let Your peace reign on those regions where your children are not permitted the freedom to live out their faith in safety.
• We trust that your Holy Spirit will watch over and encourage those who work to support oppressed believers on the ground, risking their own lives to do so.
• We ask you Father to please cover Getaneh with Your warm embrace and protect him as he is serving you faithfully. Please cover Wosene with your love and peace. We boldly ask these things in your name. Amen.
