COMMUNITIES OF THE PERMIAN BASIN 
Let us PRAY for peace, comfort, wisdom and patience for the families and businesses that have been affected by the economic downturn due to low oil prices. “They will have no fear of bad news; their hearts are steadfast, trusting in the Lord.” ~ Psalm 112:7
AWAKENING
Give thanks for all the Lord is AWAKENING IN YOU!! There is power in His blood and the name of Jesus Christ. May others experience the goodness of this truth and have an encounter with the Living God in this season! Pray for our local and global churches; for our pastors to stand firmly on the Word of God.
GOVERNMENTAL LEADERS
Pray for our leaders to stand firm on God’s Word. Give thanks we have leaders that are in the Palm of His Hand! Isaiah 41:13 May they call upon Him for wisdom.  May they give Him thanks for the peace and order that He brings.  Give thanks for God fearing men and women serving in these positions. 
PERSECUTED BELIEVERS
We lift up our brothers & sisters & those yet to come that they may know He is present in their midst and hears their prayers.  Let us pray that even in the midst of dire circumstances and even in the midst of severe threats and actions of death they will have the grace to STAND NO MATTER WHAT and not forsake Jesus Yeshua Isa – Son of the Living God.  Lift up where ISIS is controlling in places like Nigeria, Middle East and Algeria, etc.
ISRAEL
Lift up Israel and individuals within the country (Jews & Arabs alike). Pray for the peace of Jerusalem. May those who love you prosper, Psalm 122:6, Pray that Israelis will move forward with the leader that the Lord appoints. May there be peace.

Ethiopians die in floods and landslides after heavy rain
Published May 11, 2016 — At least 50 people in Ethiopia have died in floods and landslides caused by heavy rain, a state-affiliated broadcaster has reported. The rainfall follows one of the worst droughts in more than 50 years, made worse by the El Nino phenomenon.

Christians Killed in DR Congo Islamic Violence
May 10, 2016 – Democratic Republic of the Congo (MNN) – In a report by World Watch Monitor, dozens of Christians were brutally killed in eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo by attackers using axes and machetes, all part of the Islamic violence evident in the area.
 
PASTOR IN NEED OF PRAYER AS HE RECOVERS FROM VIOLENT ATTACK
Published May 09, 2016 — An evangelist involved in cross-cultural ministry in Eastern Uganda is in need of prayer as he recovers from a violent attack in which he sustained serious head injuries…he was ambushed by a group of about 10 Muslims as he left an inter-parish fellowship and headed to what he thought was a business meeting.

111 United Methodist Church clergy come out as gay ahead of general conference
May 09, 2016 – More than 100 United Methodist Church (UMC) clergy have come out as gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, queer and inter-sex ahead of the Church's General Conference this week. The UMC currently does not allow …gay people to be ordained.

500 Hindu Radicals Attack Christians With Stones in Church Raid
May 06, 2016 ​– A Protestant church in Jabat, in Madhya Pradesh India, was attacked by a mob of 500 Hindu extremists who threw stones at Christians and damaged the church's entrance over an allegedly torn nationalist flag. AsiaNews reported on Thursday that the radicals were apparently incensed when they discovered that saffron-colored flags, the symbol color of the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party, placed outside the church had been torn. 

Georgia Detains Christian Evangelist After Preaching To Muslims, Activists Say
