Prayer Wall 4/6/16

“His mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning.” Lamentations 3:22-23

 Arise & Shine for JESUS!  Please pray for:                                                                                            

1. COMMUNITIES OF THE PERMIAN BASIN
Let us PRAY for peace, comfort, wisdom and patience for the families and businesses that have been affected by the economic downturn due to low oil prices. “They will have no fear of bad news; their hearts are steadfast, trusting in the Lord.” ~ Psalm 112:7

2. AWAKENING
Give thanks for all the Lord is AWAKENING IN YOU!! There is power in His blood and the name of Jesus Christ. May others experience the goodness of this truth and have an encounter with the Living God in this season! Pray for our local and global churches; for our pastors to stand firmly on the Word of God.

3. GOVERNMENTAL LEADERS
Pray for our leaders to stand firm on God’s Word. Give thanks we have leaders that are in the Palm of His Hand! Isaiah 41:13 May they call upon Him for wisdom.  May they give Him thanks for the peace and order that He brings.  Give thanks for God fearing men and women serving in these positions. 

4. PERSECUTED BELIEVERS –We lift up our brothers & sisters & those yet to come that they may know He is present in their midst and hears their prayers.  Let us pray that even in the midst of dire circumstances and even in the midst of severe threats and actions of death they will have the grace to STAND NO MATTER WHAT and not forsake Jesus Yeshua Isa – Son of the Living God.  Lift up where ISIS is controlling in places like Nigeria, Middle East and Algeria, etc.

5. ISRAEL
Lift up Israel and individuals within the country (Jews & Arabs alike).  Pray for the peace of Jerusalem. May those who love you prosper, Psalm 122:6. Pray that Israelis will move forward with the leader that the Lord appoints.  May there be peace.

Special Prayer Request
Please for Getaneh Getaneh and the team that will be traveling to Ethiopia and Kenya for pastor leadership training from April 4-28, 2016. They will also host a prayer gathering with an expected 1,000 prayer leaders. Let us pray for safe travel. May we pray that the Lord show Himself to the people and bring a great awakening!

Nigeria: One Christian pastor killed and two released after kidnapping at church camp
April 05, 2016 – Two of the three pastors captured in Kaduna state during a church camp prayer meeting have been released, while the third died after being abandoned in the wild, according to Morning Star News. Rev Iliya Anto was found dead in the bush 10 days after the March 21 abduction, according to Rev Jibrailu Wobiya, general secretary of United Church of Christ in Nigeria. Earlier reports had claimed that Anto had been released by kidnappers due to ill health.

Asia Bibi: a source of contention
Published April 05, 2016 — Over 50 Christians died on Easter Sunday when suicide bombers targeted a park. A break-away faction of the Taliban, the Jama’at-ul-Ahrar — an alleged “enemy” of the Pakistani government — quickly took credit for the attack. Institute for Conflict Management said last week’s attack was the second-worst targeting of Christians inside Pakistan.

Syrian Girls Sexually Exploited at Turkish Refugee Camps by Muslim Men Buying 'Cheap Sex Slaves'
April 04, 2016 – The Gatestone Institute, a think tank based in New York, has published a report claiming that Syrian women and girls are being trafficked at refugee camps in Turkey, where they are sometimes sold to wealthy Muslim men from other nations as sex slaves.

OWNING A BIBLE IN CHINA: THE IMPOSSIBLE DREAM?
April 01, 2016 – How uncommon is it to own a Bible in China? Thirty or forty years ago? Extremely uncommon…things have since changed….There is now easy access to Han Chinese Bibles in paper or digital formats. Yet for Christians of certain ethnic groups who are surrounded by Muslim families and neighbors, a Bible in their own language is still a very precious gift. Open Doors worker Peony recently had the privilege of giving one of these Bibles.
