Prayer Wall 4/5/17

If I shut up the heavens so that there is no rain, or if I command the locust to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among My people, If my people who are called by name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.  ~ II Chronicles 7:13-14

AWAKENING
Give thanks for all the Lord is AWAKENING IN YOU!! There is power in His blood and the name of Jesus Christ. May others experience the goodness of this truth and have an encounter with the Living God in this season! Pray for our local and global churches; for our pastors to stand firmly on the Word of God.

AMERICA
Pray for the leaders of our nation to stand firm on God’s Word. Give thanks we have leaders that are in the Palm of His Hand! Isaiah 41:13 May they call upon Him for wisdom.  May they give Him thanks for the peace and order that He brings.  Give thanks for God fearing men and women serving in these positions. 

PERSECUTED BELIEVERS
We lift up our brothers & sisters & those yet to come that they may know He is present in their midst and hears their prayers.  Let us pray that even in the midst of dire circumstances and even in the midst of severe threats and actions of death they will have the grace to STAND NO MATTER WHAT and not forsake Jesus Yeshua Isa – Son of the Living God.  Lift up where ISIS (or affiliate) is controlling in places like Nigeria, Middle East and Algeria, etc.

ISRAEL
Lift up Israel and individuals within the country (Jews & Arabs alike). Pray for the peace of Jerusalem. May those who love you prosper, Psalm 122:6, Pray that Israelis will move forward with the leader that the Lord appoints. May there be peace.

NIGERIA: AT LEAST 15 KILLED IN FULANI HERDSMEN STRIKES
Published April 04, 2017 – A fresh attack carried out by Fulani herdsmen has left at least 15 dead in predominantly Christian and farming communities in Nigeria's central Benue State. Many have been reported missing, while several houses, huts and farmland have also been razed in Kwande Local Government Area…"After that attack, they moved into Nzaav and Alaba in Yaav council ward, where over 11 were hacked to death, and several houses burnt down, by the herdsmen.

Priests Issues Plea For North Korean Christian Refugees
Published April 04, 2017 – A French Catholic priest working with North Korean refugees in China said conditions have worsened for surviving Christians under the dictatorship of Kim Jong-un and urged the Chinese government to give shelter to fugitives from the communist-ruled country. The 200,000 North Koreans… in China shouldn't be forcibly repatriated…They all know they'll be tortured…and killed if this happens.

Christian Women Die After Hunger Strike to Highlight Persecution in Eritrea
Published April 03, 2017 – Two Christian women in Eritrea died after they went on a hunger strike to spread awareness about their own abuse and persecution of Christians in that African country… The women were protesting against the abuse they were subjected to in detention. Their bodies allegedly carried bruises suggesting sexual abuse, the website said.

Christians Accused in Killings in Pakistan Tortured, Pressured to Recant Faith
Published April 03, 2017 – LAHORE, Pakistan (Morning Star News) – Relatives of jailed Christians in Pakistan said police who tortured the prisoners offered freedom if the detainees converted to Islam, and that a public prosecutor made the same offer in exchange for bail. 

Teachers Arrested at Christian School in South Sudan to Aid Muslim Takeover
Published April 02, 2017 – The police action appears to be aimed at helping a Muslim investor belonging to "Education Vision" take over the Evangelical School of Sudan, which is situated in Omdurman, the largest city in the country and Khartoum State, Morning Star News reported. All those arrested, including the Rev. Idris Karntina, are members of the Sudan Presbyterian Evangelical Church, which is reportedly resisting repeated obstructions of the school's functioning by people from Education Vision.
