COMMUNITIES OF THE PERMIAN BASIN Let us PRAY for peace, comfort, wisdom and patience for the families and businesses that have been affected by the economic downturn due to low oil prices. “They will have no fear of bad news; their hearts are steadfast, trusting in the Lord.” ~ Psalm 112:7 AWAKENING Give thanks for all the Lord is AWAKENING IN YOU!! There is power in His blood and the name of Jesus Christ. May others experience the goodness of this truth and have an encounter with the Living God in this season! Pray for our local and global churches; for our pastors to stand firmly on the Word of God. GOVERNMENTAL LEADERS Pray for our leaders to stand firm on God’s Word. Give thanks we have leaders that are in the Palm of His Hand! Isaiah 41:13 May they call upon Him for wisdom. May they give Him thanks for the peace and order that He brings. Give thanks for God fearing men and women serving in these positions. PERSECUTED BELIEVERS We lift up our brothers & sisters & those yet to come that they may know He is present in their midst and hears their prayers. Let us pray that even in the midst of dire circumstances and even in the midst of severe threats and actions of death they will have the grace to STAND NO MATTER WHAT and not forsake Jesus Yeshua Isa – Son of the Living God. Lift up where ISIS is controlling in places like Nigeria, Middle East and Algeria, etc. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever! ISRAEL Lift up Israel and individuals within the country (Jews & Arabs alike). Pray for the peace of Jerusalem. May those who love you prosper, Psalm 122:6. Pray that Israelis will move forward with the leader that the Lord appoints. May there be peace. SPECIAL PRAYER REQUEST Please lift up special prayer for Wosene. Pray for the mothers of Wosene and Getaneh. Let us also pray for safe travel for Getaneh and the team as they go to Ethiopia and Kenya. Let’s pray that the Lord will do great and mighty things! Estimates of the dead from the earthquake range from about 230 to 280, with the injured running in the thousands. Unfortunately, the numbers continue to climb. MAF’s work involves more than medical transports. Because roads and bridges were destroyed by the earthquake, ADSE flights will bring doctors, relief workers, medicine, and other supplies, to remote areas. Elderly Christian woman whipped in Indonesia for breaking sharia law Published April 19, 2016 — A 60-year-old Christian woman was publicly caned in the Banda Aceh province of Indonesia after being found guilty of violating sharia law. According to a report by Quartz, the woman was found to be in violation of the sharia rule against the selling of alcohol, and was sentenced to public caning. The woman was whipped using a rattan cane thirty times in front of hundreds of spectators, some of whom yelled at her and took videos. ‘ Terrorist attack’ is considered likely cause of bus bombing April 19, 2016 – The explosion, which injured 21 people late Monday afternoon in Jerusalem, took place days before the Jewish Passover holiday.
