AWAKENING Give thanks for all the Lord is AWAKENING IN YOU!! There is power in His blood and the name of Jesus Christ. May others experience the goodness of this truth and have an encounter with the Living God in this season! Pray for our local and global churches; for our pastors to stand firmly on the Word of God. AMERICA Pray for the leaders of our nation to stand firm on God’s Word. Give thanks we have leaders that are in the Palm of His Hand! Isaiah 41:13 May they call upon Him for wisdom. May they give Him thanks for the peace and order that He brings. Give thanks for God fearing men and women serving in these positions. PERSECUTED BELIEVERS We lift up our brothers & sisters & those yet to come that they may know He is present in their midst and hears their prayers. Let us pray that even in the midst of dire circumstances and even in the midst of severe threats and actions of death they will have the grace to STAND NO MATTER WHAT and not forsake Jesus Yeshua Isa – Son of the Living God. Lift up where ISIS (or affiliate) is controlling in places like Nigeria, Middle East and Algeria, etc. ISRAEL Lift up Israel and individuals within the country (Jews & Arabs alike). Pray for the peace of Jerusalem. May those who love you prosper, Psalm 122:6, Pray that Israelis will move forward with the leader that the Lord appoints. May there be peace. The country has been in crisis since late 2012, with militias controlling much of the countryside. Sudan Ramps Up Persecution of Christians Once Again Arresting Christians and Attempting to Demolish Churches Published April 10, 2017 – The Christian community in Sudan has faced increased persecution this week at the hands of Sudanese authorities… First, the Administration court in Khartoum dismissed a case that would have prohibited the Sudanese government from demolishing at least 25 churches in the Khartoum area. Egypt: At least 45 killed in Palm Sunday church blasts Published April 10, 2017 –Christians have asked for prayer after at least 44 people died following blasts on two churches on Palm Sunday (9 April), in northern Egypt. The first blast exploded inside Mar Girgis (St. George's) Coptic Orthodox church in Tanta, in Gharbiya governorate in the Nile Delta region, Middle East Concern (MEC) report. At least 27 people were killed in the attack and, according to the Ministry of Health, 71 people were injured. Number of Christians in Nepal growing through persecution Published April 09, 2017 – Despite the country's majority of population being Hindu, many Nepalese have converted to Christianity because of the religious persecution many experienced… The persecution many have received forced the church and its members to unite and since then, many continue to hear the Gospel via word-of mouth. Deadly chemical bombing in Syria prompts international blame game Published April 06, 2017 – Syria (MNN) — Tuesday’s deadly attack in Syria has an outraged global audience pointing fingers. The chemical bombings that struck rebel-held territory in northern Syria have a climbing death and injury toll. As of yesterday, over 70 people have died after breathing in poisonous chemicals that caused vomiting, foaming at the mouth, writhing, and choking.
