Prayer Wall 1/6/21

Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, 2 through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we boast in the hope of the glory of God. 3 Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; 4 perseverance, character; and character, hope. 5 And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us. Romans 5:1-5

God wanted to make the unchanging nature of his purpose very clear to the heirs of what was promised…so that…we who have fled to take hold of the hope set before us may be greatly encouraged. 19 We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. Hebrews 6:17-19

Everybody is called to pray. Please pray for the following!

The UNREACHED in Ethiopia, Djibouti, Eritrea, Somalia, Kenya, and South Sudan
Pray for the most important leaders of these countries – that the Holy Spirit will take away their spiritual blindness (2 Cor. 4:4). Pray for supernatural/extraordinary manifestations of God through dreams, healing, revelations and visions, etc. among the unreached of these countries (Acts 2:19; 4:30; Heb. 2:4). Pray that the Spirit of God will raise people from these countries to build a strong church among their own people. Pray that God’s Name be glorified and honored wherever the Truth is suppressed or denied. Pray that God’s Kingdom come and rule and His will become effective where it is defied and where it is opposed by His enemies! (Matthew 6:9-10)

The CHURCH of the UNREACHED and all over the World
It is the task of the church of Jesus Christ to take the Gospel of Salvation to the nations of the World. Pray that the Church of Christ will take the Commission in Matthew 28:18-20 literally. Pray for the church to gain a new vision for mission work. Pray for the Church to persevere despite persecution. Pray for unity among the small groups and against false doctrines that often come and destroy the young congregations. Pray for outpouring of the Holy Spirit on them (Acts 4:31).

For the SALVATION of the people from the UNREACHED
Pray that whole families will become converted – it makes it easier for the converts to remain standing. Pray that the Holy Spirit will work in their hearts in a divine way and urge them to search for the True God in Jesus Christ. Pray especially for the redemption of individuals who are leaders or who are in positions of authority in these countries. Pray that these people will openly confess their sins and their faith in Christ and that they will also follow Him openly.

If my people who are called by name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land. – II Chronicles 7:14

1/5/2021 India (International Christian Concern) — a Korean Christian and three Indian nationals were arrested and charged under the newly enacted Prohibition of Unlawful Religious Conversion Ordinance in Greater Nodia, located in the Gautam Buddh Nagar District of Uttar Pradesh. Conflict Continues in Mozambique
1/4/2021 —Mozambique (International Christian Concern) – This week, the insurgents attacked the village of Quitunda, which falls within the area where Total is building a billion-dollar Natural Gas industry. This is the first time that the insurgency has attacked inside of the concession area, and shows that the insurgency may be growing in strength and influence. Chinese Street Evangelist Detained on New Year’s Day

The Deep Sorrow of Lewono Lembantongoa’s Christians
12/31/2020 – Washington D.C. (International Christian Concern) – A group of East Indonesia Mujahideen (MIT) terrorists descended on the village that Friday morning, brutally slain four villagers before setting fire to half a dozen homes, including a church. Murderer Uses False Blasphemy Accusation to Justify Killing of Christian in Pakistan
12/30/2020 — Pakistan (International Christian Concern) – According to local sources in Pakistan, a Christian man was murdered earlier this month by a Muslim coworker in a factory. The victim’s family reports the murderer falsely accused the Christian of committing blasphemy to justify the killing. Fulani Militants Kill Christians in Kaduna State
12/30/2020 – Nigeria (International Christian Concern) – Attacks by Fulani militants against Christian communities in Kaduna state continued leading up to Christmas. At least 18 people were killed and many others abducted in the villages of Ungwan Waziri, Gwazunu, Gbaja Katarma, Galumi, Kugosi, Gora Gan, and Kujeni Tudu. • Pray for frontline pastors, workers and their families in countries hostile to Christianity.
• Pray for the believers who are persecuted, imprisoned and even killed for their faith.
• Pray for the underground church and pastors we support in East Africa.
• Pray for our persecuted brothers and sisters who are under attack. That they would know the hope God gives (Ephesians 1:18) and that the Holy Spirit will strengthen them (Ephesians 3:16).
