 2 CHRONICLES 7:14 If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

WATCHING GOD
HEAVENLY FATHER, You are the source of all life and love. Thank You for Your love and grace that never fails us. Help us to see You for who You are and worship You for all You are!
• PSALM 59:9 You are my strength, I watch for You; You, GOD, are my fortress.
• MICAH 7:7 But as for me, I watch in hope for the LORD, I wait for God my Savior; my God will hear me.
• HABAKKUK 2:1 I will stand at my watch and station myself on the ramparts; I will look to see what he will say to me, and what answer I am to give to this complaint.

WORLD WATCHING
BLESSED SAVIOR, LORD JESUS, help us to watch YOU work in the nations, our nation, and our local area, and thank You for ALL that You are doing around us. Help us to pay attention to what GOD is doing around us this week!
• HABAKKUK 5:5 Look at the nations and watch—and be utterly amazed. For I am going to do something in your days that you would not believe, even if you were told.
• MATTHEW 24:42 Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come.
• 1 PETER 4:7 The end of all things is near. Therefore, be alert and of sober mind so that you may pray.

ABBA, FATHER, GOD, help us to watch and pray WITH YOU and see the news and world events through Your eyes. Thank YOU for Your invitation to join You in watchful praying. Help us to see You more clearly, to know You more deeply, and to live a life that reflects Your glory. Teach us to see matters through Your perspective and pray as Your Spirit gives direction!

5/20/2025 – Mozambique (Mission Network News) Reports of insurgency continue in Mozambique’s northern Cabo Delgado province, despite the government’s efforts to quell it. A string of attacks starting on March 31 and leading into April displaced 15,000 people, according to one report. For some people, it was their third or fourth displacement. Myanmar Junta Strikes School, Ratchets up Propaganda Machine
5/19/2025 – Myanmar (International Christian Concern) An air strike last week has, yet again, shined a spotlight on the cruel tactics used by the military junta ruling Myanmar. The strike, which took place in Myanmar’s Sagaing region, hit a school. Twenty students and two teachers were killed, with witnesses describing the mangled bodies of children in the gory aftermath of the incident. Boko Haram Kills 2 Christian Education Workers Near Army Base
5/14/2025 – Nigeria (International Christian Concern) Boko Haram insurgents recently targeted Christians traveling near a Nigerian army base along the deadly Damboa–Maiduguri highway, killing two Christian teachers and injuring several others. The victims, both devoted Christian educators with the Damboa Local Education Authority — were killed Monday morning when their vehicle struck an improvised explosive device (IED) allegedly planted by the Islamic terror group.. PRAYERS FOR THE PERSECUTED CHURCH

• Pray for Wosene HEALING and RECOVERY through rehabilitation and pray for Getaneh.
• Pray for their PROTECTION for those arrested and in prison.
• Pray for COMFORT for those who have lost their loved ones and are suffering alone.
• Pray for renewed FAITH for those who have been displaced and have lost their church buildings, homes, or businesses.
• Pray for COURAGE, PERSEVERANCE, and MERCY for those who are persecuted.
• Pray for our persecuted brothers and sisters who are under attack. That they would know the hope God gives (Ephesians 1:18) and that the Holy Spirit will strengthen them (Ephesians 3:16)
• It is the attitude of a heart sincerely seeking Him to which God responds with a blessing (Isaiah 58, Jeremiah 14:12, and 1 Corinthians 8:8)
