2 CHRONICLES 7:14 If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

WATCHING GOD
HEAVENLY FATHER, You are the source of all life and love. Thank You for Your love and grace that never fails us. Help us to see You for who You are and worship You for all You are!
• PSALM 59:9 You are my strength, I watch for You; You, GOD, are my fortress.
• MICAH 7:7 But as for me, I watch in hope for the LORD, I wait for God my Savior; my God will hear me.
• HABAKKUK 2:1 I will stand at my watch and station myself on the ramparts; I will look to see what he will say to me, and what answer I am to give to this complaint.

WORLD WATCHING
BLESSED SAVIOR, LORD JESUS, help us to watch YOU work in the nations, our nation, and our local area, and thank You for ALL that You are doing around us. Help us to pay attention to what GOD is doing around us this week!
• HABAKKUK 5:5 Look at the nations and watch—and be utterly amazed. For I am going to do something in your days that you would not believe, even if you were told.
• MATTHEW 24:42 Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come.
• 1 PETER 4:7 The end of all things is near. Therefore, be alert and of sober mind so that you may pray.

ABBA, FATHER, GOD, help us to watch and pray WITH YOU and see the news and world events through Your eyes. Thank YOU for Your invitation to join You in watchful praying. Help us to see You more clearly, to know You more deeply, and to live a life that reflects Your glory. Teach us to see matters through Your perspective and pray as Your Spirit gives direction!

Multiple earthquakes devastate part of Afghanistan
9/3/2025 – Afghanistan (MNN) A magnitude 6.0 earthquake devastated parts of eastern Afghanistan late Sunday. As of Tuesday, the death toll has passed 1,410 people, with thousands more injured and over 5,400 homes destroyed. Almost all of the deaths were in Kunar Province, Afghan officials said Monday. Villages in India Restrict Christian Movements and Activities
9/1/2025 – India (International Christian Concern) Six villages in the Kanker District of the central Indian state of Chhattisgarh passed resolutions prohibiting Christian pastors, priests…from entering their areas. Huge blue billboards in

Persecution of Christians in Indonesia Varies by Province
8/22/2025 – Indonesia (International Christian Concern) According to persecution rankings, Indonesia has improved significantly over the last three years. As of 2025, it no longer even appears on the World Watch Top 50. Such a development is no small matter, seeing as how Indonesia is the world’s fourth most populous country, and the most populous majority-Muslim one. But despite Indonesia’s apparently favorable trajectory, there have been recent incidents involving groups of perpetrators violently lashing out against Christians and their houses of worship.

ADF Militants Pose as Church Leaders, Kill Three in DRC
8/29/2025 – DRC (International Christian Concern) In a chilling new tactic, alleged Allied Democratic Forces (ADF) rebels disguised themselves as church officials and choristers before launching a recent fatal attack on Mayi Moya village in Beni
Territory, Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC). The rebels killed three civilians and kidnapped eight.

Pakistan forcibly converts Christians to Islam
8/27/2025 – Pakistan (International Christian Concern) In May 2025, a 16-year-old Christian Pakistani girl was abducted from her home and married to a 28-year-old Muslim, Muhammad Asim. Because it is unlawful for a Muslim to marry outside of the religion, Asim forced the girl to convert to Islam. Click here for more:
